Who publishes it

Nexosa is an independent project. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Microsoft or any other media centre vendor. The site describes the software and links to its downloads; it runs no service, offers no account, and stores nothing about you.

What happens when you open this page

The page is a set of static files served by Cloudflare Pages. The host receives ordinary connection and security data, such as the requesting IP address, time and requested file, according to the publisher's Cloudflare configuration and agreement. No Nexosa analytics, advertising or tracking script is configured. The publisher relies on its legitimate interest in securely serving the page you asked for (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), subject to the required balancing assessment.

The page itself sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, runs no script and loads nothing from anywhere but its own address; the fonts are served from here. Norwegian law (ekomloven section 3-15) forbids storing anything on your device without your consent unless it is strictly necessary for what you asked for, and this page stores nothing at all, which the site's own build checks prove on every change.

One address on this site is not a static file: the page under /premium/link, which exists only to link a device to Nexosa Premium and is opened from the apps. It, too, runs no script and stores nothing in your browser. What it processes, and for how long, is set out in the privacy policy.

Download buttons use the public download host configured by the publisher. The private source repositories are not linked or exposed. When you choose a download, that host receives ordinary connection and security data under the publisher's agreement with it.

If the publisher uses a Norwegian domain, the domain subscriber is responsible for how it is used under ekomloven section 12-7. The production publisher must keep the domain registration and the identity on this page accurate.

Your rights

You can ask the publisher what, if anything, is held about you (the answer is nothing beyond what Cloudflare's logs hold for a short time), object to that processing, and complain to your national data protection authority. In Norway that is Datatilsynet, postboks 458 Sentrum, 0105 Oslo, postkasse@datatilsynet.no. Requests are answered within one month.

The apps are a different matter

What the Nexosa apps and a Nexosa server do with your data is described in the privacy notice and the terms of service that every server ships, and in the device-side notices each app carries and shows before you sign in. The server you sign in to is run by whoever installed it, and that person, not this site's publisher, is the one to ask about it.

The files this site serves are the fontsource project's builds of both faces, under the same licence; the licence texts, with each face's own copyright notice, are served here: Outfit, IBM Plex Sans.

The site is built with Astro and Tailwind CSS, both MIT-licensed tools that run at build time; the page you receive contains none of their code. Playback in the apps is VLC's engine, LibVLC, under the LGPL; the notices ship with each build.
